From the early stages of concept design through to construction supervision, we work closely with clients to provide tailored civil engineering solutions that meet project needs and regulatory requirements. Our Expertise

  • We support our clients through planning applications by providing Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)  and Drainage Strategies to the latest policies and guidance. We work with our clients at concept stage to ensure the development proposals are suitable for the site’s Flood Zone and to highlight any implications flooding may have on proposals.

  • We can design for both private and adoptable highways and have extensive experience in Section 38 and 278 agreements. We prepare all technical drawings for Highway submissions and liaise with Highway Authorities for technical approval.

    We work within the latest Civil 3D software to generate Highway models and contours to ensure our designs meet current standards. We ensure to undertake vehicle swept path analysis to satisfy access and turning requirements.

  • Form has expertise in Sustainable urban Drainage Design (SuDS) and hydraulic modelling for all sites to ensure an efficient and sustainable design adhering to the latest policies.

    We provide services for adoptable below ground drainage designs, including the submission and liaison with Water Authorities for Section 106, Section 104, Section 185 and build-over agreements.

    We produce 3D models of the foul and surface water below ground drainage network using the latest Civil 3D software to ensure a fully coordinated design is provided prior to construction.

  • We have extensive experience with producing cut and fill models to determine the importation or exportation of materials from site. We work with our clients to find solutions for achieving a net balance of cut and fill by optimising the sites levels design and looking for opportunities to re-distribute site won material.

  • At Form we collaborate to ensure our civil engineering design is fully coordinated with our structural model. We use the latest Civils 3D software to produce 3D models of our below ground drainage design which can be input to Revit for complete 3D BIM models.

    We work with external consultants to ensure our below ground networks and SuDS are coordinated in 3D with MEP services and landscape proposals.
